National Center for Health Statistics: Faststats*
The Faststats site provides quick access to statistics on topics of public health importance. This link will take you to a clickable map which you can use to find state or territory health care data. This site also provides links to publications that use these statistics, to other data sources, and to related web pages.

This site is compiled by the National Center for Health Statistics, which supports the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which in turn are part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Statehealthfacts.org

This link will take you to a clickable map, Statehealthfacts.org, a project of the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, made available without charge, where you can find information about a state or territory and find out how it compares to the rest of the US. The site provides up-to-date health data on all 50 states and territories and data on more than 450 health, health care, and health policy topics.

State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC)*

The University of Minnesota's State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC) is funded by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to help states monitor rates of health insurance coverage and to understand factors associated with uninsurance. SHADAC provides targeted policy analysis and technical assistance to states that are conducting their own health insurance surveys and/or using data from national surveys.

State Coverage Matrix*
The State Coverage Matrix organizes available information on specific strategies states have used to expand or sustain insurance coverage. It provides state-specific information and general information about the strategy and links to research sources. The Matrix was developed and is maintained by the State Coverage Initiatives Program, a national initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that works with states to plan, execute, and maintain health insurance expansions, as well as to improve the availability and affordability of health care coverage.
